Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager, the incumbent performs supervisory duties to ensure operational integrity of the pharmacy distribution services and as part of the pharmacy team, performs complex duties such as manufacturing sterile compounds and chemotherapy; performs order entry duties; measures, manufactures, compounds, packages; organizes and distributes medications; assists with the purchasing and receiving; and performs other related duties.
The successful applicant will have certification as a Pharmacy Technician from a recognized institution which includes a hospital practicum, three (3) years’ of hospital pharmacy experience, registration or eligibility to be registered with a Canadian College of Pharmacy as a regulated Pharmacy Technician along with the successful completion of the PEBC Pharmacy Technician examination.
Base Pay: $31.74 – $40.16 per hour
