The Provincial Drug Programs (PDP) manages and administers sustainable drug programs for eligible Manitobans and develops policies related to drug management and utilization. The Operations unit under PDP provides information to the public on pharmacare application status, benefit coverage and adjudication of claims and extends helpdesk support and troubleshooting to pharmacy providers.
The department is looking for a qualified Customer Service Representative (CSR) to support the administration of pharmacare Program and Ancillary Services which involves responding to queries from the public, pharmacies and other users of the Drug Programs Information Network (DPIN) on application processes, prescription terminologies and multiple procedures. These functions are performed using real time clinical and fiscal adjudication system within a help desk and team environment. The position also reviews and processes applications for pharmacare program, family services, personal care home and palliative care drug programs based on established parameters and policy guidelines with attention to accuracy and efficiency.
