CAPT has developed four strategic goals that will guide the organization in continuing to achieve its mission while supporting the unique needs of its members and evolving pharmacy practice over the next five years.

 

GOAL OBJECTIVE KEY STRATEGIES
Provide Continuing Education Increase the amount of readily available continuing education options for pharmacy technicians to maintain licensure  Promote existing continuing education and develop partnerships with organizations and associations that offer opportunities for continuing education. 
Communication and Advocacy  Improve communication with our membership and advocate for the advancement of the profession.  Expand awareness of CAPT board activities;, promotion of news and events through social media and website. Encourage open communication within the profession. 
Recruitment and Retention of Membership  Increase membership to provide a stronger voice for the pharmacy profession nationally.  Develop innovative modes to recruit members and to provide increased member benefits. 
Increase Collaboration with Stakeholders  Continue fostering relationships with our provincial working group and other stakeholders.  Provide ongoing communication by offering collaborative opportunities. 

CAPT commits to providing ongoing strategic planning and content will be reviewed annually to ensure goals are being maintained and relevant. Members feedback is welcome and encouraged.
