triOS College Business Technology Healthcare Inc., Mississauga campus, is actively seeking a pharmacy assistant or technician interested in joining the campus team to teach within our Pharmacy Assistant program.

Primary Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide quality delivery of assigned courses within the Pharmacy Assistant program, utilizing a variety of instruction strategies, techniques and delivery methods to meet the individual learning styles of the students, in a safe and civil learning environment. Instructors are responsible for teaching assigned courses in accordance with course competencies, taking daily attendance, and as required, grading class tests, assignments and exams.

Qualifications:

Successful candidates must possess industry certification, including the OCP exam and have a minimum of 2 years practical hospital and / or retail pharmacy experience. In addition the successful candidate will have advanced knowledge of computerized pharmacy software applications.

Prior teaching experience is preferred. Your professionalism combined with intermediate MS Office skills, superior English communication and organizational skills will be essential to success in this role.

Hours of Work:

This position is a permanent part-time opportunity. Hours of work will be 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday.

Start Date:

The scheduled start for this opportunity is November 2015.
